For travelers seeking an immersive wildlife experience in Tanzania within a short timeframe, this safari is unmatched. Start with a visit to Lake Manyara, where, from July to September, large flocks of flamingos gather, transforming the lake’s surface into a mesmerizing pink expanse that resembles delicate sea foam—a sight you’ll remember for a lifetime. Next, journey to the renowned Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage site celebrated for its breathtaking landscape and dense wildlife population. The crater’s unique ecosystem supports a remarkable diversity of species, making it an essential stop on any Tanzanian safari.

Day 1: Arrival

The group will land at Kilimanjaro Airport (JRO), where an Wild wave Adventures representative will greet them and arrange a transfer to their hotel in Arusha.

Please note: The hotel stay includes breakfast only, and check-in is available starting from 2:00 PM

Day 2 : Lake Manyara

In the morning, after breakfast (around 7:30 AM), your safari guide will arrive at the hotel and notify the receptionist of his arrival. Once you meet your guide, you’ll set off for Lake Manyara National Park, reaching the park by 10:00 AM to begin your first safari adventure!

The park is interlaced with streams fed by groundwater, creating an ideal habitat for lush vegetation, various bird species (including flocks of pink flamingos), and numerous forest-dwelling animals.

At midday, you’ll stop by the Maji Moto hot springs, where you can enjoy your packed lunch provided by your guide. The safari continues after lunch, and by evening, you’ll arrive at your hotel for a restful night.

Important Information:

As this is your first day on safari, we kindly ask that you familiarize yourself with both the national park regulations and our company guidelines.

  • Stay in the Vehicle: For safety and conservation reasons, please remain inside the vehicle except in designated areas. Exiting the vehicle elsewhere could result in significant fines and potential license loss for the company.
  • Respect the Environment: Off-road driving is not permitted, as it disrupts the delicate natural balance within the ecosystem.
  • Smoking Guidelines: While smoking is allowed, please exercise caution when extinguishing and disposing of cigarette butts, as these can easily ignite fires in the savanna.

Thank you very much for your cooperation!

Day 3 : Ngorongoro Consevation Area

To maximize your chance of spotting early-morning wildlife, we recommend leaving the hotel as early as possible. Breakfast will be provided in lunchboxes for this purpose. At 6:30 AM, you’ll depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, reaching the crater floor in about an hour.

Ngorongoro is one of Tanzania’s most renowned parks, home to an incredible density of wildlife across a variety of species. Here, you’ll have opportunities to see buffalo, elephants, lions, wildebeests, zebras, hippos, and rare feline species like caracals and servals. With a bit of luck, you may even spot a rhinoceros, one of the most endangered species in the region.

By midday, you’ll arrive at the lakeside for lunch, enjoying your packed meal before continuing your safari. In the evening, you’ll return to your hotel in Arusha for a well-deserved rest.

Day 4 : Departure

Enjoy some leisure time at the hotel before your transfer to the airport.

Please note: Hotel check-out is at 11:00 AM. If you have an evening flight and require a late check-out, you can extend your stay until 6:00 PM for an additional fee.
